I am pretty damn tired right now… heading to bed in a few minutes.
This week was crazy.. very sad and very happy all at once. Haiti’s 7.0 earthquake was truly devastating. I remember getting the cellphone notification when that earthquake hit. I looked at my phone and said, “7.0.. uh oh!” and went online immediately to check out the news. Nothing! It took about 5 minutes before the stations were covering it. Truly a tragic event… I have no idea how they will recover. 🙁
Monday, I did go bowling this week after getting back from Phoenix, AZ for the Lola Felli bridal show. It was a fun night! Kyle was able to bowl a game after his shift, which hasn’t happened for a while. Kyle came back to my place after the game, and I took him home on the way to work the next day.
Tuesday started a very busy week in the office… we got a few orders and had to start planning order fulfillment. I think it’s going very well! A night, I went to Trivia. My team came in 2nd. I was proud of my 25pt final question: Who voiced Stimpy? It was an easy answer, yes… Billy West. Still, I was happy to have known an answer!
On Wednesday, I ran a few errands, then picked Kyle, Heath and Chris up to go hiking at Point Vicente. We played with hermit crabs and pet star fish. Mike Scharff met up with us down there. After that, we went to Brennan’s Irish Pub with everyone, as well as Violet, Jason, and Mike Dorwart. Great food!!!
Thursday, Zander and I focused on photography and order placement. After work, I went to Target, then spent the night depressed and wrote in my blog. I also edited photos and pet cats all night!
Friday, I went to work, then picked up Ben & Sandy, then headed to my sister’s for a vision board meeting. We all created vision boards, and it was really fun!
Saturday, slept in, then went into Hollywood to hang out with Jason. We walked around Hollywood Blvd, then had dinner at Koji’s with Scharff, Dorwart, Adam, and Sarah. After dinner, Emmett, Adrienne, Heather, Ryan, Ginger, Ricki, Erik, Josef, Mick, and others showed up to hang out. We sang lots of songs at karaoke and had some great drinks.
After karaoke, Kyle & I went back to his place and talked for a few hours. It was a much needed talk. We are doing great, and are very very happy together!
Sunday, took Kyle to the train station, then headed home to nap. Charter Cable came to install the DVR (which saves us $10 a month for some reason), and then I spend the day lounging about the living room.. I edited some photos, talked to friends online, and watched Young Guns II and the Golden Globes (why did Drew Barrymore have a sea urchin on her shoulder and hips?). At night, John came over and he, John L, Sandy & I tried out my new Christmas present (Zephyr Ion). Then, John, John L & I played Mario Kart, followed by John & I playing a bunch of levels of the new Super Mario Bros! It was awesome, and I really want it!
Tomorrow, going to see dad, then working in the afternoon. Bowling at night.
In the near future, I’m looking forward to the Oscars (and seeing all the movies beforehand), going to Vegas with Lola Felli, broomball, Ryan / Josh / Jul / Michael’s birthday party, an engagement shoot, my first valentine’s day with Kyle, a weekend away with Kyle in mid-late February, and wedding season starting up again this Spring!
