A Foggy Road to Fun!

This past weekend was Janis’ birthday. John & I drove up after work to San Rafael. The drive up the 5 was about 4.5 hours worth of very dense fog. It was very creepy at times, esp if we got too far from other drivers. I didn’t like feeling like I was alone on the road. I knew I wasn’t, but I couldn’t see more than 8 feet in any direction. I kept envisioning a human standing in the road and my car swerving to miss him… eeek! After a few hours, John took over driving and I passed out. I was seriously exhausted from that ordeal.

We arrived in San Rafael just after 2am. We hung out with Janis until after 3:30am, then passed out til after 11am the next day. Once awake, we walked to breakfast. We tried to go to a crystal fair too, but it was canceled. Janis & I got mani/pedicures, then I took a nap while she got ready for the evening.

A few of her friends met up with us at her place, then we drove into the city to go to dinner at Herbivore. Anne met up with us for dinner, which was great! She & I split two meals, and they were both fantastic!

After dinner, I hailed us a taxi van to take us to Cafe Du Nord. A few more of her friends met up with us there, including Joe. It was great to see and catch up with him! John, Joe & I mostly hung out in the social lounge area so we could chat. There were some bands on stage, but I wasn’t paying much attention. I was content hanging out and chatting with people.

At some point, we decided to leave the club. Some of Janis’ friends headed to a party. Joe walked home. Janis, John, Christina, Jay, and I grabbed a cab back to her car, and Jay drove us back to San Rafael and played Gin Rummy and Simpsons Clue. It was a great end to the night.

We slept in again, then walked to the crepe and breakfast restaurant on 4th. YUM!!!!!! On the way back, we checked out some unique jewelry stores. I decided that I really like German jewelry styles!

Once back, we loaded the car and headed out. The ride home was much easier, almost no fog! We got home after 9pm. The kitties were so happy to see us! Even now, Gracie hasn’t left my side. She’s been cuddling all over me and laying on me. She’s been rubbing her face all over my keyboard, hands and arms. So adorable!

Unfortunately, Aurora’s not feeling so well. I’m going to try to feed her again before bed. She’s not eating much. 🙁 I think I’ll go do that now.

MyHeadache.com

So, it appears I’m locked out of myspace. I’ve tried to login a million times, and none of my passwords work. I am worried about this. Someone may have jacked in and changed my password.

The shitty thing is, when I request my password, myspace says that it sent an email to the account I signed up with. Well, I know what account that is… all freakin’ day, no email. I tried requesting about 4 times today: before work, after work, later on, then just now. No luck… no email, not even in my bulk. How the hell do I get into my account when they won’t send me my damn password! Ugh!!!!!

The Whole Story
Wednesday – After work, went to Best Buy to get dad a birthday gift card. Ended up buying a 46″ LCD Samsung 1080p 120hz HDTV that John & I have been wanting for a while. They had 3 year no interest payment plans in place. Hooray!

Headed to Albertsons to buy Thanksgiving foods and ingredients, then home to clean the apartment. After cleaning, just chilled and watched TV, edited pix, relaxed.

Thursday – Woke up pretty early, worked on the apartment some more, relaxed for a bit, then started cooking. Dad and Gram came over around 2:30pm with turkey, gravy, rolls, pumpkin pie, mashed potatoes, and cranberry sauce. I made yams with shmellows, green bean casserole, and vegetarian stuffing. John made fancy mac/cheese with havarti and guyere.

We had dinner at 5pm, then played Tetris Party on the Wii. Taught my grandma how to play too. She never excelled, but she started to catch on. She’s 93, so I’ll give her a break! My dad really enjoyed Tetris. We then had pie. I got a Key Lime for my dad and John (who don’t eat pumpkin). I LOVE Key Lime, so I had some too!

After dessert, dad and gram left. John & I just relaxed on the couch, roaming around online and watching random TV.

Friday – John & I walked up Brand Blvd, looking out for a place to fill his glasses perscription. We found one, and they had some good sales! He got some sexy thin black frames! They’ll be ready in 10 days.

After that, we walked to the Galleria in search of an iSkin for my ipod. Apple didn’t have any. Boo! First, though, we had lunch at Sbarro. It was tolerable and I was starving. Once home, we rested a bit; then, I headed over to Lyse’s to pick up her and Anne. We went to the Santa Monica Promenade to have dinner at the Tudor House. We finished a pot of Vanilla tea and had some yummy dinner pies! We then walked around the Promenade for a bit before heading back to the valley.

We picked up some s’mores supplies and headed to Lyse’s. John came over to join us. We had to jump Peter’s car (battery died twice) nearby, so we all went for a ride to the parking lot of Tony’s Italian. Then to Blockbuster to find a movie. They had a buy 5 movies for $20; so, Lyse got Men at Work and some others. We made microwave s’mores and watched Men at Work once back at her place. 🙂 I love that movie!

Saturday – Best Buy’s delivery people came at 6:45am, way too freakin’ early! Glad I heard my cell phone! They didn’t even want to set up the TV, but we told them they had to (since I was promised that). They barely took it out of the box and plugged it in before they were out the door! Ugh!

The picture was awful, there were wavy lines and buzzing coming from the TV. We decided to go back to bed and deal with it later. Once awake, we got ready and headed to Chinatown, where John & I hopped on a Dash to the Jewelry District. Lyse & Anne met up with us there. Lyse got KC a present and I bought myself an awesomely beautiful silver ring for $20. They had to resize it for me, but that was included in the price. My ring finger is a 4.75 (pretty small). Most rings they had were a 6 and above.

After a bit, Lyse & Anne headed out to meet Bobby for lunch. John & I walked down Broadway in search of new shoes for him. We found a great pair for a great price, then headed to Chinatown for lunch. We had $4.95 lunch specials at the famous Hop Louie! It was pretty good, considering I don’t like Chinese food. Unfortunately, we ran out of time to shop and had to rush home to put the left-overs away before meeting up with Lyse, Anne and KC to see Austraila at the Burbank AMC 8. It was fantastic! Very long, but very very good!

Once home, we had left over Thanksgiving food, then tried to set up the TV. It was a disaster. I was so mad at Best Buy for abandoning the TV on us without setting it up! We tried to troubleshoot the problems, but had no luck. We decided to wait for Charter Cable to see what they could do on Sunday. Later in the night, John’s friend came for our old TV, but she didn’t bring strong men with her. There was no way she was getting that heavy sucker out of there; so, we told her to come back on Sunday with some big men. John & I spent some time relaxing. I did some editing of Greg & Katy’s wedding pix for a bit. Later in the night, we headed to Koji’s in Hollywood for Karaoke. Nick, Paul, Lillian, Danielle, Kyle, Heath, KC and Lyse were there. We got there around midnight. KC bought em a Lotus Blossom drink. It was quite yummy! Lyse & I sang 18 & Life by Skid Row, then I did Toad’s Whatever I Fear a bit later. John did Superman’s Dead by Our Lady Peace. We closed the bar at 2am, then headed home to get some sleep.

Sunday – Slept in til 11:30am, when the Cable Guy called. He put in the HD box, but couldn’t resolve the issue with the lines and humming sound. He called a supervisor to come out, but that supervisor never showed up. I called Charter to find out what was up. They said someone would be here in 20 to 30 min. Nobody showed up. I called back, they said the ticket had been closed, but they would reopen it and send someone out in 20 to 30 min! Ugh!! I was going to scream! Finally, two Charter reps showed up, put in a new box, changed the cable out, changed the splitter, and got the TV working perfectly! Thank god!

After they left, John & I went to Mitsubishi to try out the key he got in the mail. Sadly, we didn’t win a new car. His key got almost all the way in the Galant, but it didn’t turn. Boo! We were given a voucher for a 2gig mp3 player with a $10 shipping charge. We probably won’t be sending that in… Once home, we watched Lord of the Rings – Two Towers on HD. Beautiful! We also surfed the web and edited pix while watching. We had our Chinese food left-overs for dinner, then headed to Lyse’s after the Simpsons (which was quite awful).

Picked up Lyse, drove down the 101 to Gower (Hollywood was closed due to the Santa Parade). We went to see Bolt in Disney Digital 3-D at El Capitan, stopping by Koji’s to get Nick. Vanessa was there! Bolt was freakin’ hilarious! I loved it! We all really enjoyed it! I want to own this. It was so cute and funny!!

The movie ended pretty late. I took Nick home, then took Lyse home. John & I got home just before 1am. I passed out immediately. What an awesome weekend!

Hope you all had a great Thanksgiving!!!!

Happiness is a Clean House… and a Loving Boyfriend!

After work, I went to Best Buy to get my dad a gift card for his birthday (today). I ended up buying a Samsung 1080p 120hz 46″ LCD HDTV. John & I have been talking about it for quite some time now, and I told myself that if I could get the exact one I wanted at the price I wanted and pay for it with 3 years NO interest, then I would do it. Well, Best Buy just happened to put their 3 year no interest plan back into effect and they lowered the price of the TV I wanted… I’m super excited! My old 36″ tube has been good to me, but I’m moving up in the world of TV technology!

Best Buy took much longer than expected; so, I ended up at Albertson’s instead of Ralph’s for groceries. I didn’t know my way around the store, but I was able to get everything I needed for Thanksgiving tomorrow.

Once home, I had dinner and started cleaning. I cleaned and cleaned until late in the evening. The apartment looks pretty good. John worked really hard on it too, and I’m happy to have a tidy, clean, organized living room, dining room and kitchen. Sadly, we had to move some stuff to the computer room that is not quite sorted through yet; but, I will get to that soon.

John and I are slowly getting rid of things and getting this place in order. We would love to buy a place, a bigger place; but, that will come in time. I want to have a permanent job before I commit to a house (even though prices are coming down).

He and I are doing great. We are so very happy, and I look forward to spending Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years with him. I look forward to a long and happy future with him, with lots of travels, holidays, rainy days, sunny days, days off, busy days, quiet days and special days. I love him so much!!!

Okay, it’s 1am on Thursday. It’s Nikki’s 30th birthday (happy birthday, Nik!) and also Thanksgiving. My dad and grandma are coming over around 3pm. I am going to head to bed now. Night! Happy Thanksgiving!!!

Avila Weekend

After work on Friday, John & I drove to Avila Beach on the Central CA Coast. We checked in and settled into our room. John passed out pretty fast, but I stayed up watching Love Actually. I’ve seen it tons of times, but I love that movie!

On Saturday, we got up early and had continental breakfast. Around 10:30am, we headed down to Pismo Beach to the Monarch Butterfly Sanctuary. Wow, I’d never seen that many butterflies in one place! I thought I had, but nope… there were about 17,000 butterflies at this location! Most were huddled in the trees, but many were taking flight in the warm sunny skies!

For lunch, John & I went to Alex’s BBQ in Pismo. I had grilled cheese!!!! Yum! After lunch, we drove to San Simeon to see the Elephant and Harbor Seals. There were hundreds, and they were so much fun to watch! I loved seeing them move around the beach… those huge, adorable blubbery creatures! I just love them, esp the Harbor Seals!

We peed at the Hurst Castle welcome center, then headed down to Cambria in search of Ice Cream Sundaes (which we didn’t find). We wandered around a bit, then drove down to San Luis Obispo and walked around downtown to find dinner. We ended up at the Big Sky Cafe. Damn good food! I highly recommend it!

We then saw Zack and Miri at the Fremont / Mission Theatre. It was freakin’ hilarious! There was one quick scene that I could have done without; but overall, it was a kick ass funny movie! Stay for the credits!

We were pretty tired after the movie, so headed back to our suite at the San Luis Bay Inn to relax. I watched Legally Blond, then passed out.

This morning, we got up pretty early and drove to Solvang for breakfast. I got the House Breakfast: an aebleskiver, french toast and a pancake. YUM!!!!! After breakfast, we walked around town for a bit, hitting up the shops that looked interesting. Lots of cool stuff, but nothing I wanted to buy. John got some nice jeans though. Unfortunately, we skimped on lunch and chose a $1 western themed restaurant. $1 egg salad isn’t very good. $1 grilled chicken isn’t very good (according to John) and $2 curly fries are AWFUL! We should have gone to a Danish restaurant for lunch. Bah!

We headed home after lunch, arriving around 6pm. We didn’t have much time at home since we had to meet Dad, Lyse, and KC at Casa Vega in Sherman Oaks for dinner at 7pm. I had a great watermelon coconut margarita! The food was great too! After dinner, we came home to rest. I’m typing this and watching My Fair Wedding. I really like this show. Heading to bed after. Night!

Advertising Rant

I hate these Glade commercials that make out this modern woman to be of the mindset of someone from the 50s! She’s afraid of letting her friends know she uses a Glade plug-in; so, instead, she pretends she’s bought fancy candles, baked cookies or whatever… it’s really demeaning! I mean, if you can’t be honest with people, especially about something as small as air freshener, then what else are you hiding?! Why do commercials try to appeal to our lack of integrity? It pisses me off!

John & Greg’s Birthday Week

So, John turned 26 yesterday and Greg turned 27 on Tuesday. We had a fun night at trivia. The coca-cola cupcakes turned out awesome!!! The recipe can be found here.

Last night, John, Greg, my sister, Rich, Laurel, David, Sarah & I went to Koji’s for dinner. David & Sarah just hung out for a bit then headed out before we got seated. Paul was our host, and KC and Nick showed up eventually to say hello. Dinner was great. I love Koji’s! I had Garden Rolls and Vegetable Shabu Shabu.

Today, I’m cramping and have a slight sore throat. I think the smoke from the fires is what caused my itchy throat, because I don’t feel sick otherwise. The air seems much better today, and I think most of the fires are out or under control. So many people lost homes… so terribly sad 🙁

I can’t believe the Big 3 automakers flew to DC on private jets! Sheesh! Sorry for the diversion, I’m watching CNN on my lunch break. Sandy’s on my lap and Aurora is sitting beside us. I love my furry purries! 🙂

Ok, back to work…

Civil Rights, Birthday Games, Cupcakes and The Need to Sleep

This past weekend was really interesting and super fun! On Friday, John & I were hoping to go to karaoke, but nobody else wanted to go so we stayed in.

Saturday was a really busy day. I got up early, drove to Chinatown, took a Dash bus to Spring Street and walked to City Hall for the Civil Rights Rally to Repeal Prop 8 and demand equality for ALL people.

The mayor was awesome. He flew in from the fires to speak to us. He had an amazing speech, as did many of the speakers that were there that day. Over 10,000 people showed up for this rally. Sadly, it was supposed to be one couple’s wedding day, but they were stripped of their right to marry on Nov 4th.

So many wonderful couples, happy to be together, but sad to be 2nd class citizens. We marched… we marched for equality, we marched to represent civil rights for all people. There were many straight people, like me, marching… marching to support our brothers and sisters, marching for freedom and marching to fight discrimination!

I met up with Mel at the beginning of the march. She had an awesome “Jesus Says Relax” sign! We walked from City Hall, down to 4th Street, went South one block, then walked all the way into Chinatown, ending at Philippe’s (where Mel & I decided to have lunch). I love Philippe’s. They have 9cent coffee and a yummy cheese sandwich. I love their mac/salad too! The odd thing is, I got a chocolate cream pie, but it tasted like whiskey; so, I decided not to eat it.

After lunch, Mel & I walked back to my car, stopping for some shopping along the way. She got a kick-ass cheesy-awesome Obama bag and we both got sexy new boots.

On Saturday night, John & I went to the Towers for his and Greg’s birthday party. We played a long rotating-player game of Loaded Questions and while others played Rock Band. I tried Rock Band when the last drummer got up, and I ended up playing Cherub Rock. I sucked! It was a quick fail, but Adam got me back in the game. By the end of the song, I started to get the feel of it. Still, I looked pretty spastic I’m sure!

The party was super fun. We left around 2am and passed out pretty quickly once we got home. On Sunday, we slept in a bit, then I spent the afternoon sorting through files and cleaning up. At night, I went over to Elysia’s to watch TV and hang out. I helped her with some chores and relaxed while we ate sugary foods til I got a headache. Once home, I edited some pix, then went to bed.

Today, work went by quickly. I have to go in a little early tomorrow to finish up a project. Unfortunately, I spent the entire evening making cupcakes that came out awful. I followed a recipe I found online, and it was just terrible. I ruined all 60 cupcakes. John & David were working on writing, and they enjoyed the crappy cupcakes… which I decided tasted more like muffins than cupcakes. They were super greasy too… ugh! At least they liked em. Personally, I feel awful that I won’t have cupcakes to take to trivia tomorrow night. I always make cupcakes for people’s birthdays. Now, I won’t have cupcakes for my own boyfriend’s birthday. 🙁 Kinda sucks. I’m going to bed now.

Bats Day in the Fun Park – 10th Anniversary

This weekend was quite busy! On Friday, I cleaned and packed. On Saturday, John & I visited Lyse in the hospital (recovering from her lymphadic surgery). She was released just after we left. Yay!

Saturday afternoon / evening – went to the Bats Day Black Market with John, Missy & Ryan. Saw some cool things, but nothing I really wanted to buy.

Saturday night – Went with Missy & Ryan to the Bats Day Gala. We hung out and chatted with people, watched a prize raffle, had some snacks and people watched. We went back up to our hotel room early and just hung out til we were tired enough to pass out.

Sunday – got up super early and got ready for Bats Day in the Fun Park! We had breakfast at Denny’s, then drove into the park around 10:15am, meeting up with Erik & Ricki on the tram.

We then met up with Mike, Lacey & Steve inside the park. After getting settled into a locker and taking pee breaks, we headed for Thunder Mountain. Sarah & Emily met up with us after we got off the ride. We then went to The Adventures of Pooh, which is always psychadelic fun! Emily then met a human size Pooh and Eeyore!

Before we knew it, it was time for the 1pm Castle Meet-Up. We gathered with Missy’s friend Natelie and her cousin Jennifer. Bobby also met up with us. There were soooooooooo many people at the Castle! I had never seen that many gothies in one place! It was quite a site compared to previous years!

We lost Sarah & Emily around that time too 🙁 After that photo meet-up, we went to Space Mountain for a Fast Pass, lunch at the Pizza Port, and a ride on Buzz Lightyear. Back to Space Mountain after, where John & I had to exit the ride due to an issue with our rocket. We then got to ride again with our group immediately after!

We split from Mike, Steve, Bobby, Lacey & Ryan to head to California Adventure. We grabbed Fast Passes for Tower of Terror, then went to the Toy Story Mid-Way Games (which was super fun)! Then back to Tower of Terror to ride. On our way out of C.A., we stopped into Animation to see which character Missy was most like: Mulan! Ricki & I were most like Ariel. Haha!

We also went to see Turtle Talk with Crush. I asked him how global warming was affecting his environment. He said that turtles like warm water and asked what I wanted him to do about this issue. I asked him to send all the fish to the surface to dance and sing and freak out the humans so that we’d get off our butts and solve the problem. He said, “fish, go sing” and that was that. 🙂 It was funny!

Natalie & Jennifer wandered off after that, and the rest of us crossed back into Disneyland to have dinner. We went to the Birthday Plaza, and I got some yummy pasta and pumpkin cheesecake. Mike, Steve, Lacey & Ryan met up with us to hang out. Ryan headed home after that, and the rest of us wandered through Tomorrowland on the way to Toon Town. Mike, Lacey, Missy & Steve stopped to go on the Matterhorn, and the rest of us continued to Toontown hoping to get a Tweet from Noah with the next prize give-away. Just as we crossed the parade route, the Tweet came through. Noah was back in Tomorrowland by Honey, I Shrunk the Audience! Bah! John & Erik took off running in that direction, back across the parade route. Ricki & I followed at a relaxed pace. Turns out, the boys got there in time! John won bat eats for the Mickey hat and Erik won the pocket watch souvenir. Yay!

We finally headed to Toontown to get the Mickey hat. After that, we met back up with Mike, Steve, Lacey & Missy and went to the Haunted Mansion. It was a clusterfuck of batty people! Mike, Steve & Lacey decided to go home at that point. Ricki, Erik, Missy, John & I finally got routed to the Fast Pass “Holding Area” where we waited almost an hour to move. We made some new friends though!!! Another hour down the road and we got our picture take and went inside the Mansion. I liked the new decor for NBC! Zero seems to have more bones every year!

* Edit, per Missy: After the mansion, we went with our new friends to ride Pirates. We took up an entire boat (10 of us), and Missy, Ricki, Erik, John & Mark got soaked! I was behind Erik, and put my head down to hide my camera bag. I was fine. It was more soaking than ever before on Pirates! Sadly, Missy & Erik ate some of that water too. Eeeew. Once out of Pirates, we split up from our new friends and headed to main street. John & I split a hot chocolate (yum) and then went to a few stores to look around. We got on the tram and headed home around 11:30pm. It was a super fun weekend, exhausting and awesome all at once!

Jobs Report

Over 240,000 jobs were lost in October. That is horrifying beyond belief! I can’t imagine what Obama is going up against to turn this country around. I wish him the very best of luck and cooperation from everyone!

As a temp, I worry! I know Disney needs my position to be filled to continue my department (Tween); so, I am hopeful to keep my job. With the holidays coming, people won’t be spending much, but those who will will buy Disney stuff for their kids. It’s very likely.

I really hope the auto industry doesn’t shut down. It’s sad that we are cutting jobs and not innovating cleaner running cars. I hope things turn around soon. I wish I could close my eyes and wake up when we are healthy again as a nation.

Marriage is a Legal Contract, Not ONLY a Divine One

The Mormon church is the organization that funded the majority of the drive to vote in Prop 8 to ban gay marriage. What they do not realize or refuse to admit is that marriage is a binding legal contract approved by the State and County! To be married in the US, a County MUST issue a marriage license (or you are not legally married).

With the separation of church and state, and with anti-discrimintation laws in place, this ballot measure should not have passed as it is illegal to discriminate based on race OR gender! If black and white people can marry one another, then a gay couple should be allowed to marry. The law is clear: do NOT discriminate! Therefore, this yes on Prop 8 MUST be overturned.

Please, please, repost your thoughts on your blogs and social networking sites… remind people about the separation of church and state, about the legalities of marriage contracts, about the anti-discrimination laws and about how nobody should even try to remove civil rights from any other citizen!!! It should be a crime to do so!

Article that I just read that invoked my rage at the Yes on 8 people!

Mixed Emotions

I am sooooo excited about Barack’s victory! John & I were on my way to my sister’s when he got a text from her that Barack had one. I didn’t believe it… it was way too early in the evening! We get there, and sure enough, McCain is on CNN conceding the election! Wow!!! Elysia, John, Paul, KC & I watched Barack speak to the world… Full of great admiration, excitement and being a part of history, I teared up a little. I took pix of my sister’s HD TV with my p/s cam, haha!

After Barack’s speach, John & I went to trivia. I was feeling great, sooooo excited and happy! Happier than I had been in ages! Then, later that night, I was struck a huge blow with the massive presumptive passing of Prop 8. Not only is that a blow to my officiating business, which was just starting to grow; but, much more-so, it was a blow to civil rights, American freedom, separation of church and state, and to all of my LBG friends and family! It broke my heart and I’m still upset about it. It’s kept me up the past two nights, thinking about it, upset about it. I can’t believe that this great state of California would deny two people in love the freedom to marry! This is pure discrimination and hate, and it sickens me!

So, here I am… deeply upset about Prop 8, but overjoyed by Barack’s victory! I am not sure how to feel… I am happy overall. I know that we are working towards a more open-minded, less discrimatory society; but, I had thought with Barack’s victory, that we were there! I thought we had passed that boundary. I guess we’ll just take it day by day.

I can’t wait for Barack to take office and start making changes that we can believe in! I know it will not be overnight, but I know we are on our way!

Nov 04 2008

I Voted!

I voted today! Hooray! I am so glad today has finally arrived! I urge those in CA to vote YES on Prop 2, NO on Prop 4 and NO on Prop 8!

I really hope the election turns out in Obama’s favor! I hope lots of Democrats get into Congress to help Obama with his policies! Good luck America!!!

Halloweekend 2008

Friday – Halloween, and work was busy! I did head over to the Haunted Mansion Halloween party at the Big D Patio in Imagineering. It was pretty cool. Great costumes and free treats!

At night, John & I went to Elysia & Paul’s party. We were a bit tired from the week, but still had a great time. Again, costumes were great! Lyse made some yummy booze too!

Saturday – slept in, organized files, ran errands, then headed down to Lomita for Sarah & Casey’s party. It was very chill and fun! We watched the Shining, had some yummy food and great conversation. Emily went to bed early, but not until she took apart the entire pumpkin patch!

Sunday – slept in again, worked on the apartment… lots more filing. I had some computer issues and had to run to Bobby’s to borrow a monitor. I was a bit stressed and overwhelmed with all I had to do that I had to cancel on the No to Prop 8 training. John & I went to Target, then to Wendy’s for our free 6oz frostee! I bought a pack of 10 for $1 before Halloween! Once back here, we started organizing again.

Some Halloween pix are posted (links above). 🙂

Overwhelmed

I have hundreds of photos to edit for two different weddings, I have piles of paperwork on the coffee table to go through and file, I have many projects I never finished, I have not picked out my Halloween costume, I can’t get my DVD Recorder to work (therefore no cable or recording Pushing Daisies or the Daily Show), and I have so much to do this weekend that will not allow me the free time to work on the above projects.

I need more hours in the day! I’m exhausted just thinking about all of this.
